In this role, you will be responsible for daily care routines, including monitoring animal health, cleaning habitats, and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities

• Feed and water animals, ensuring their nutritional requirements are met.
• Monitor animal behavior and report any health issues to veterinarians.
• Clean and maintain animal enclosures, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments under veterinary supervision.
• Assist with grooming and hygiene tasks for animals.
• Record and maintain accurate health and treatment records.
• Transport animals to and from treatment areas.
• Check and maintain equipment and supplies used for animal care.
• Support veterinary staff during exams and procedures.
• Educate pet owners about proper care and nutrition.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in animal care or related field is a plus

Experience

• Prior experience in animal care preferred

Technical Skills

• Animal handling and restraint techniques
• Knowledge of basic veterinary practices

Certifications

• Certification in Animal Care
• First Aid/CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience working with exotic animals: Hands-on experience with a variety of animal species including reptiles and birds.
