Food Science Technician

Job Description

As a Food Science Technician, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our food products meet the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include conducting inspections, testing, and analyzing food samples while working closely with other departments to enhance product quality.

Responsibilities

• Analyze product quality throughout the production process.
• Support the development of new products through quality input.
• Monitor and assess vendor quality performance.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of food products to maintain quality.
• Assist in the development of quality control systems.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.
• Prepare reports on quality inspection results and trends.
• Participate in training and mentoring new team members.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related field
• Master's degree in Food Safety or Quality Control is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in quality assurance within the food industry

• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor

Languages

• English: Fluent
