Job Description

As an Ordnance Engineering Technologist, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and testing explosives for military applications. You will collaborate with engineers, scientists, and technicians to ensure all products meet stringent safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct performance tests and evaluations of ordnance systems.
• Document test results and generate detailed reports.
• Work with cross-functional teams to complete projects successfully.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Conduct risk assessments for new explosive products.
• Review and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) regularly.
• Assist in the development and implementation of safety procedures for ordnance activities.
• Maintain knowledge of current industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Train junior staff and interns in technical responsibilities.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in ordnance engineering or related fields, including military applications
