Job Description

We are seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Charlotte. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design and will be responsible for creating innovative mechanical systems and components. Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design projects from concept through production.
• Conduct research to stay updated with the latest design technologies and techniques.
• Foster collaboration with suppliers and vendors for component sourcing.
• Implement design best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support the engineering team with troubleshooting and problem-solving challenges.
• Manage project documentation, including change orders and specifications.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in mechanical design activities

• AutoCAD
