Job Description

Join our dedicated team as a Forging Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender where your skills will contribute to crafting high-quality cages for various applications. You will work in a fast-paced environment, using state-of-the-art machinery to produce reliable products. Candidates with experience in metalworking and a strong focus on quality will thrive in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct set-up of forging machines using established processes and procedures.
  • Calibrate machinery to specific settings for different projects and materials.
  • Work closely with engineers to incorporate feedback on cage designs and modifications.
  • Assist in training new staff on machine operations and safety procedures.
  • Participate in safety audits and quality assurance checks as needed.
  • Document any defects or issues encountered during manufacturing for future reference.
  • Implement improvements to production processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Monitor inventory levels of materials and report shortages to the supervisor.
  • Participate in production team meetings to communicate challenges and enhance teamwork.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations governing workplace safety and manufacturing practices.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical degree in Metal Working or related field preferred
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in cage making or metal fabrication required
