Job Description

As a Title Examiner, you will play a crucial role in the real estate transaction process. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough title searches and prepare accurate reports to identify property ownership and any encumbrances. This is a detail-oriented position that requires a keen eye for discrepancies in property records.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed title searches to uncover any issues related to property ownership.
  • Draft and produce clear and concise title reports for clients.
  • Work with various teams to ensure smooth processing of property transactions.
  • Identify and address issues related to title defects in a timely manner.
  • Stay abreast of changes in the title insurance industry and relevant regulations.
  • Engage in effective communication with clients to address inquiries and issues.
  • Document all findings and maintain detailed records of title investigations.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Real Estate
  • Advanced degree is preferred

  • 5+ years in title examination or related roles with familiarity in complex transactions
