Audiovisual Equipment Installer and Repairer

Job Description

As an Audiovisual Equipment Installer and Repairer, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining audio and visual equipment. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of both analog and digital audio systems and will be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Install networking solutions for audiovisual systems.
• Assist clients in understanding service options and outcomes.
• Optimize system setups for improved performance.
• Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs.
• Prepare and submit reports regarding maintenance activities.

Requirements

Education

• Associate's degree in Electronics or related field
• Certification in audiovisual systems is preferred

Experience

• Experience with phonographs and turntables is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with industry-standard software platforms
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair both electrical and mechanical systems

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking

Certifications

• CTS - Certified Technology Specialist
• AVIXA Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with vinyl pressing and audio mastering: Experience in the production side of audio, including mastering techniques.
• Proficiency in audio restoration techniques: Skills in restoring old recordings to their original quality.
