Core Oven Tender

Job Description

The Core Oven Tender will manage the operation of the core oven in our manufacturing facility. This role requires collaborating closely with production teams to bake products to strict specifications, ensuring all quality standards are met. Candidates should be detail-oriented and capable of performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all activities related to the core oven operation.
• Ensure consistent application of quality control measures.
• Guide the team in adhering to production deadlines.
• Conduct training sessions for new hires on oven operations and safety.
• Develop and maintain documentation for processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance staff on equipment upgrades.
• Assist with inventory management of supplies related to oven operations.
• Evaluate performance metrics and suggest improvements.
• Support the Production Manager in implementing best practices.
• Maintain effective communication with all related departments.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate degree in Manufacturing Technology or related area is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience operating industrial ovens or related equipment

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of manufacturing software systems

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• OSHA Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience with troubleshooting heating equipment: Skill in diagnosing and fixing heating-related equipment issues.
