We are seeking a Poultry Farm Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our poultry farm. The supervisor will be responsible for managing a team of farm workers, ensuring high standards of production and animal care, and implementing efficient farming practices.

Job Responsibilities
  • Ensure proper staffing levels and that workers are adequately trained and motivated.
  • Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to guarantee optimal functioning.
  • Analyze production data and implement changes to improve efficiency.
  • Develop training programs for new hires and ongoing worker development.
  • Coordinate the processing and packaging of poultry products to ensure product quality.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and communication.
  • Handle any disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies.
  • Cultivate relationships with suppliers and vendors for equipment and feed sourcing.
  • Implement innovative farming practices to enhance sustainability.
  • Collaborate with the Farm Manager on budget planning and financial reporting.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or Animal Science
  • Associates degree with relevant experience will also be considered
  • Animal Husbandry In-depth knowledge of poultry care and welfare.
  • Farm Management Software Skilled in using software tailored for agricultural operations.
  • Microsoft Office Proficient in using Office for reports and documentation.
  • Leadership Strong leadership qualities to manage and motivate a team.
  • Communication Effective communication skills for team collaboration.
  • Problem-Solving Ability to tackle challenges and implement solutions.
  • Poultry Management Certification
  • CPR and First Aid Certification
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Marketing Skills: Experience in marketing poultry products to consumers.
  • Sustainability Practices Knowledge: Understanding of sustainable practices in poultry farming.
