Lineman

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Lineman to install and maintain electrical power systems and telecommunications cables. The ideal candidate will have the technical expertise and physical strength necessary to work safely and efficiently, while also communicating effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on power poles and transmission towers.
• Use specialized tools and equipment to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
• Conduct inspections to identify potential hazards and maintenance needs.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues with precision.
• Maintain communication with supervisors and other crew members throughout tasks.
• Ensure all work is performed to code and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service during on-site interactions.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a lineman apprenticeship

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in fieldwork as a lineman

Certifications

• First Aid/CPR Certification
• Traffic Control Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of underground power systems: Experience working with both overhead and underground electrical systems.
