Job Description

Join our dedicated team as a Welfare Investigator. In this role, you will examine potential fraud cases, gather evidence, and ensure that public assistance recipients meet eligibility requirements. Your findings will directly impact the community and help in regulating resources effectively.

Responsibilities

• Investigate allegations of fraud in public assistance programs.
• Conduct interviews with clients, witnesses, and other involved parties.
• Gather and analyze data to determine eligibility for assistance.
• Develop strategies to improve the effectiveness of investigation processes.
• Prepare and submit reports detailing findings and suggested actions.
• Work with case managers to assess ongoing cases and their progress.
• Provide superior customer service and support to the public throughout investigations.
• Ensure adherence to confidentiality and ethical standards in all case handling.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Services or related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in social services or welfare programs

Certifications

• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
