Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Automated Equipment Engineering Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, testing, installing, and maintaining automated equipment for our manufacturing facilities. The role will involve close collaboration with engineering teams to troubleshoot and optimize systems while providing training and support to production staff.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
• Manage installation projects of new automated systems.
• Document processes and improvements made to existing automated workflows.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on equipment maintenance guidelines.
• Implement best practices for safety and operation protocols.
• Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement.
• Provide feedback on design improvements for enhanced automation.
• Collaborate with the production team to optimize equipment usage.
• Assist in the evaluation of new tools and technologies for automation.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing facility.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Technology

Experience

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing automation field.
