Job Description

As a Slab Grinder, you'll play a pivotal role in the manufacturing process. Your main responsibility will be to operate and maintain the slab grinding machine, ensuring the production of top-notch slabs. If you have a keen eye for detail and a mechanical aptitude, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Operate slab grinding equipment following safety guidelines.
• Adjust machine parameters to optimize output quality.
• Conduct visual inspections of slabs for defects.
• Assist in machine maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Coordinate with other departments to improve manufacturing processes.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in machining or manufacturing is preferred

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in similar roles is advantageous

Technical Skills

• Machinery maintenance
• Precision measurement

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Interpersonal skills

Certifications

• OSHA Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of different slab materials (granite, marble): Familiarity with diverse materials will be a plus.
