Radio Station Audio Engineer

Job Description

As a Radio Station Audio Engineer, you'll be pivotal in managing technical equipment for recording, editing, and broadcasting our audio content. You will ensure our broadcasts are of the highest quality while working closely with producers and on-air talent.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation of all studio audio equipment during broadcasts.
• Ensure all audio content is mixed, edited, and formatted for broadcast standards.
• Work closely with technical teams for repairs and upgrades of audio equipment.
• Develop and implement audio production processes for the station.
• Monitor regulatory compliance throughout the production process.
• Assist with scheduling for gear usage during high-demand times.
• Participate in occasional off-site events and broadcasts.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Audio Production or Sound Engineering

Experience

• At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a radio station

Technical Skills

• Live Broadcast Management

Languages

• English: Fluent
