Job Description

Join us as an Organist, where your musical skills will be key in providing accompaniment during worship and community events. You will collaborate with church leaders to select suitable music that aligns with our values.

Responsibilities

  • Perform organ music at various church services and community events.
  • Coordinate with the music ministry to select fitting hymns and pieces.
  • Conduct regular practice to refine and enhance organ skills.
  • Interact with congregation members to incorporate their musical preferences.
  • Assist with the training of choir members and other musicians.
  • Ensure effective communication with church leadership regarding musical selections.
  • Organize music-related rehearsals and meetings.
  • Stay engaged with the latest organ music publications and releases.
  • Adapt performances to suit different types of religious ceremonies.
  • Collaborate with various church teams to support church missions.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Music or Organ Performance (preferred)
  • Relevant certifications in organ playing or music theory are a plus.
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Organist in a church or religious setting.

Advantageous
