Job Description

As a Pollution Control Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. You will be responsible for monitoring pollution control systems, conducting tests, and collaborating with team members to implement effective solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, maintain, and optimize pollution control systems.
  • Conduct regular tests and assessments for air, water, and soil quality.
  • Document findings and ensure compliance reports are submitted accurately.
  • Assist in the development of environmental management plans.
  • Train staff on environmental practices and compliance measures.
  • Engage in community outreach to promote environmental awareness.
  • Analyze data and prepare presentations for management review.
  • Support the installation and commissioning of new pollution control technologies.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives in pollution control measures.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, or related field
  • Master's degree in a related field is advantageous
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in environmental monitoring and compliance testing
