Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Career/Technical Education Teacher to lead our industrial technology program. The ideal candidate will inspire students in various technology disciplines, preparing them for future careers through hands-on learning and real-world applications.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement lesson plans that meet educational standards.
• Instruct students on technical skills and theory in industrial technology.
• Conduct safety training for equipment usage.
• Evaluate and grade student assignments and projects.
• Integrate technology in the classroom to enhance learning.
• Be proactive in maintaining a safe learning environment.
• Promote student engagement through innovative activities.
• Work collaboratively with industry partners for project-based learning opportunities.
• Provide mentorship to students in their educational endeavors.
• Organize and participate in outreach programs related to technology education.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Education or Engineering
• Master's degree in Industrial Technology preferred

Experience

• 2-5 years of teaching or industry experience in technology

Technical Skills

• SolidWorks
• PLC Programming

• Teamwork

Certifications

• National Board Certification
• First Aid and CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
