Job Description

We are seeking a diligent Weather Clerk to help us monitor and record weather data. In this position, you will support experienced meteorologists and contribute to timely weather reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, organize, and maintain accurate weather records.
  • Track weather phenomena and their potential impacts on local conditions.
  • Assist meteorologists in the development of forecasting models.
  • Help maintain operational weather instruments and software tools.
  • Implement quality checks to ensure reliable weather data.
  • Engage in outreach activities to educate the community about weather safety.
  • Contribute to research initiatives related to climate analysis.
  • Maintain awareness of local weather patterns and community needs.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, or related field
  • Master's degree in Meteorology is preferred
Experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in meteorology or weather-related roles

Languages
  • English: Fluent
