Job Description
We are seeking a diligent Weather Clerk to help us monitor and record weather data. In this position, you will support experienced meteorologists and contribute to timely weather reporting.
Responsibilities
Collect, organize, and maintain accurate weather records.
Track weather phenomena and their potential impacts on local conditions.
Assist meteorologists in the development of forecasting models.
Help maintain operational weather instruments and software tools.
Implement quality checks to ensure reliable weather data.
Engage in outreach activities to educate the community about weather safety.
Contribute to research initiatives related to climate analysis.
Maintain awareness of local weather patterns and community needs.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, or related field
Master's degree in Meteorology is preferred
Experience
1-3 years of experience in meteorology or weather-related roles
