Job Description
As a Childcare Assistant, you will support childcare providers in creating a safe and nurturing environment for children. You'll engage children in age-appropriate activities while monitoring their safety and well-being.
Responsibilities
Oversee children's participation in play and educational activities
Collaborate with the team to enhance the learning environment
Observe and report any concerns regarding children's behavior or health
Encourage children to express themselves and develop social skills
Support children with special needs with individualized care and attention
Requirements
Education
Completion of a recognized Childcare Assistant training program
Valid background check and clearance to work with children
Experience
Experience with children of specific age groups (infants, toddlers, preschoolers) preferred
