Job Description

We are seeking a Hydrometeorological Technician to gather and interpret weather and water data crucial for environmental research. In this role, you will work with advanced instruments and collaboration with experts in meteorology and hydrology.

Responsibilities

  • Perform numerical simulations and modeling of hydrometeorological processes.
  • Support public safety initiatives through accurate weather forecasting.
  • Participate in community outreach related to hydrometeorological issues.
  • Implement new data collection methods and tools.
  • Document and archive collected data for future analysis.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Meteorology, Hydrology, Environmental Sciences, or related field
  • Certification in hydrometeorological data collection preferred
Experience
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
