Pick-Up and Delivery Driver

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Pick-Up and Delivery Driver to join our team. The driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting packages and goods to customers within designated areas. The role requires excellent time management skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Drive designated routes to pick up and deliver goods to customers.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
• Maintain proper records of all deliveries and pickups.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss delivery schedules and improvements.
• Communicate with dispatchers to report any delays or issues on the road.
• Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
• Foster positive relationships with customers and vendors.
• Remain updated on local traffic patterns and road conditions.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in a similar delivery role within the transportation industry is preferred

Technical Skills

• Excellent driving skills
• Knowledge of local traffic laws

Languages
