Job Description

We are looking for a diligent Stage Hand to support the production team in live events. Your responsibilities will include setting up and breaking down stage equipment, operating various technical tools, and maintaining a safe environment for performers and audiences. Responsibilities

• Setup and maintenance of staging equipment and technical systems.
• Support lighting and sound crews with operation during live events.
• Participate in rehearsals to understand cues and responsibilities.
• Ensure all safety measures are adhered to during setup and performance.
• Help in the transportation of equipment to and from venues.
• Maintain clear communication with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
• Assist in the development of production schedules and event timelines.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 2+ years in live events or technical production

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in lighting and sound systems operation
• Experience with rigging and truss systems

Soft Skills

• Team collaboration
• Problem-solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Prior experience in a theater setting: Experience specifically within theater productions is a plus.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards: Understanding of safety regulations in a production environment.
