Pile Driver Operators

Job Description

We are on the lookout for experienced Pile Driver Operators to join our dedicated team. In this role, you'll operate specialized equipment to drive piles, playing a crucial role in supporting various construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Drive piles to the required depth and alignment ensuring structural integrity.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment before and after use.
• Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor immediately.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions as required.
• Assist with the setup of work sites and ensure proper equipment is in place.
• Evaluate job site conditions and make adjustments to the pile installation plan as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Additional technical certifications are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience with a demonstrated record in pile driving operations

Technical Skills

• Blueprint Interpretation
• Physical Stamina

Certifications

• Heavy Equipment Operator Certification
• DOT Medical Card

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Prior experience in bridge construction projects: Hands-on knowledge of working on bridge foundations and their specific requirements.
• Proficiency in hydraulic and pneumatic systems: Ability to work with hydraulic and pneumatic tools used in pile driving.
