Job Description

Join our growing team as a Trains Dispatcher Supervisor, where you'll lead a group of dispatchers in facilitating the safe and effective movement of trains. Your expertise will drive performance improvements, with a focus on compliance with safety regulations and effective communication with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of dispatchers in the planning and execution of train schedules.
  • Monitor train locations using dispatch software.
  • Communicate effectively with train crews and other transportation professionals.
  • Develop and implement operational improvements.
  • Create and distribute reports regarding dispatching activities.
  • Ensure all operations comply with FRA regulations.
  • Manage emergency situations efficiently to minimize disruptions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the team.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics or a related field
  • Master's degree in a relevant field is a plus
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in train dispatching or related roles
Technical Skills

Languages
