Job Description

We are searching for a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our Columbus team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles and hands-on experience in troubleshooting and maintenance. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical parts and systems based on engineering specifications.
• Evaluate and recommend changes to maintenance processes for efficiency.
• Assist in managing inventory of mechanical components and supplies.
• Work with project managers to ensure timely delivery of mechanical solutions.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and challenges.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years in mechanical maintenance or technician roles

Technical Skills

• Mechanical design software (e.g., SolidWorks)
• Quality control techniques

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles: Understanding of lean methodologies to improve efficiency.
