As an Optometric Aide, you will play a crucial role in our patient care team. You will be responsible for assisting optometrists with eye examinations, performing preliminary tests, and ensuring a welcoming environment for patients. Responsibilities

• Aid in the organization of patient flow for examinations.
• Support optometrists with the use of diagnostic equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist in the training of new staff and interns.
• Keep accurate records of patient interactions and treatment.
• Engage with patients to explain procedures and answer questions.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in optometric or healthcare roles preferred

Experience

• Strong customer service background in a healthcare setting.

Languages
