Job Description

Join our team as a Reading Teacher where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing students' reading skills. You will implement personalized instruction, motivate students, and utilize diverse instructional materials to promote literacy and a lifelong love of reading.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging reading curriculum customized to student needs.
• Conduct ongoing assessments to evaluate and improve students' reading skills.
• Foster a creative and inclusive classroom atmosphere that inspires a passion for reading.
• Work closely with fellow educators to coordinate literacy initiatives and programs.
• Incorporate modern educational tools and resources to enhance learning.
• Advise parents on strategies to support their child's reading development at home.
• Encourage students to select and explore a diverse range of literature.
• Maintain up-to-date records of student performance and behavior.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• Additional coursework in reading instruction preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in elementary education
