Job Description

As a Water Treatment Plant Operator, you will play a crucial role in operating and maintaining our water treatment facilities. Your expertise will help us ensure the production of clean, safe, and high-quality drinking water while adhering to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the municipal water treatment facility.
• Collect and analyze water samples to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Resolve minor issues and perform routine maintenance on treatment equipment.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on operational performance and water quality.
• Train new personnel on safety procedures and equipment usage.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
• Participate in community outreach programs to educate the public about water safety.
• Implement new techniques and technologies for water purification and treatment.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Water Treatment Operator certification
• Additional certifications in water quality or wastewater treatment are advantageous.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating and maintaining water treatment facilities.
