Soft-Sugar Operator

Job Description

As a Soft-Sugar Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment to ensure the creation of high-quality soft-sugar products. You will work closely with other team members to meet production goals and maintain compliance with food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all equipment is functioning correctly before and during production runs.
• Participate in production meetings to discuss targets and challenges.
• Handle the cleaning and sanitizing of production areas as required.
• Support maintenance teams with equipment troubleshooting.
• Conduct routine checks to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
• Assist in developing production schedules to optimize output.
• Train and mentor new operators in soft-sugar production techniques.
• Collaborate with the quality control team to implement corrective measures.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate's degree in Food Science or related field is a plus

Experience

• Previous experience in food production is a strong advantage

Technical Skills

• Production safety knowledge
• Quality control experience

Soft Skills

• Communication skills
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Understanding of HACCP principles: Knowledge of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points in food safety.
• Certifications in food safety: Any relevant food handling or safety certifications are considered an asset.
