Surgical Technologist

Job Description

As a Surgical Technologist, you'll play a critical role in assisting surgical teams before, during, and after surgical procedures. Your duties will include preparing the operating room, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring that all necessary equipment is ready for use.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for surgeries by reviewing the surgical schedule and confirming supplies.
• Assist in patient positioning and securing them for surgical procedures.
• Help manage the flow of instruments during surgery effectively.
• Adhere to all safety protocols during operations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in surgical assistance preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a surgical setting preferred.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Robotic Surgical Systems
• Ability to Follow Instructions

Soft Skills

• Flexibility and Adaptability

Certifications

• CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Familiarity with specific surgical specialties: Experience with fields like orthopedics or neurology is preferred.
