Job Description
Join our team as a Fire Inspector and Investigator, where you will conduct in-depth investigations into the causes of fires and explosions. Your expertise will play a vital role in enhancing public safety and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough investigations involving fire incidents to identify causes and responsibilities.
Use specialized equipment to analyze evidential materials and document findings.
Maintain accurate case records and ensure confidentiality is upheld.
Interpret complex data and deliver presentations on investigation outcomes.
Assist in developing training materials for new investigators.
Participate in public outreach activities to educate the community on fire safety.
Foster relationships with partner organizations and stakeholders.
Provide expert consultation during legal proceedings and insurance claims.
Manage investigation projects and ensure timely completion within budgetary constraints.
Requirements
Education
Master's degree in Fire Science or a related field is advantageous.
Experience
Proven experience in managing complex fire investigations is preferred.
