Job Description

As a Childcare Worker at Child's Play Daycare, you will play a vital role in fostering a safe and nurturing environment for children. You will support lead caregivers in daily activities and assist in implementing developmentally appropriate educational programs. Your compassionate and patient demeanor will help nurture children's growth and well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise children during engaging play and educational activities.
  • Assist in organizing and conducting daily programs tailored to children's developmental needs.
  • Maintain open communication with parents regarding child's daily activities and progress.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance childcare skills and knowledge.
  • Support children's learning through hands-on activities and play.
  • Document and report any behavioral or developmental concerns to the lead caregivers.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant training in child development or early childhood education is preferred.
Experience
  • Experience working with children preferred, but not mandatory.
Technical Skills
  • First Aid/CPR Certification

Advantageous

  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles: Understanding of best practices in early childhood education is beneficial.
