Job Description

As a Plating Machine Setter, you will ensure the safe operation of galvanizing pots, maintaining optimal temperatures and adhering to safety regulations. The role also involves coordinating with team members to foster an efficient production environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective communication with the production team.
• Keep detailed logs of production output and machine performance.
• Suggest improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions.
• Assist in the development of standard operating procedures.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in galvanizing or plating processes preferred

Technical Skills

• Process Control
• Equipment Troubleshooting

Certifications

• OSHA Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Previous experience in a union environment: Familiarity with union protocols and work culture can be an asset.
