Job Description

The Mill Turner will be responsible for setting up and operating a range of mill machines to produce precision parts for manufacturing. This role will involve working with various materials including metals, plastics, and composites, ensuring that all parts meet stringent quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare mill machines for production, including setting speeds and feeds.
  • Inspect workpieces using measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with team members to achieve operational goals.
  • Ensure that all work areas are clean and organized.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the department.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Completion of an apprenticeship program is a plus
Experience
  • 3-5 years of hands-on machining experience
