Automotive Service Technician / Vehicle Mechanic

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Automotive Service Technician to perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with automotive systems, a strong commitment to quality, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles for wear and tear, recommending services as needed.
• Implement best practices for vehicle repair and maintenance.
• Utilize diagnostic software and tools effectively.
• Collaborate with service advisors to deliver accurate service recommendations.
• Maintain vehicle repair logs and documentation for audit purposes.
• Participate in maintaining a safe and productive working environment.

Requirements

Education

• Technical or Associate's degree in Automotive Technology
• Relevant certifications in specialized automotive systems are advantageous.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a dealership or specialized automotive repair facility.

Technical Skills

• Advanced Electrical Systems Knowledge
• Experience with Hybrid/Electric Vehicles

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Team Collaboration

Certifications

• EPA 608 Certification (for refrigerant handling)
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications are preferred.

Languages

• English: Fluent
