We are seeking a meticulous Lens and Frames Prescription Clerk to join our optical team. This role is pivotal for assisting customers in selecting tailored prescription lenses and frames, ensuring a seamless shopping experience. Ideal candidates should be detail-oriented and passionate about helping people find their perfect eyewear. You'll be responsible for everything from measuring prescriptions to coordinating with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers through the process of choosing lenses and frames that meet their vision needs.
• Accurately document prescription information during consultations.
• Advise on lens enhancements such as anti-reflective coatings and blue light protection.
• Process orders for frames and lenses, ensuring accuracy in the specifications.
• Conduct quality checks on received products to ensure they meet standards.
• Provide fittings and adjustments to eyeglasses, offering a personalized experience.
• Maintain comprehensive records and assist with customer follow-ups.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone and in-store.
• Collaborate with optical professionals to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Keep abreast of advancements in optical technology and product offerings.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in an optical retail setting is preferred.
