Elevator Examiner

Job Description

In this role, the Elevator Examiner will be responsible for inspecting and testing elevators and other lifting devices to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in elevator mechanics and have hands-on experience in maintenance and repair work.

Responsibilities

• Execute inspections of various lifting devices to guarantee adherence to safety standards.
• Log findings from each inspection and provide actionable insights for repairs and improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of service visits and inspections for compliance and reference.
• Educate building management on lift operations and safety audits.
• Participate in ongoing training related to new technologies in elevator systems.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an elevator maintenance or inspection certification is highly desirable

Experience

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in the elevator industry.
