As a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), you will play a critical role in maintaining our high standards of quality and safety in welding practices. Your expertise will help identify defects and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Responsibilities
Perform visual and mechanical inspections of welds.
Implement non-destructive testing (NDT) methods to assess weld quality.
Create and maintain inspection records and documentation.
Advise on the selection of welding processes for specific applications.
Train and mentor junior inspectors and welding staff.
Participate in problem-solving discussions to address quality issues.
Requirements
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is preferred
Experience
3+ years experience in welding inspection, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
