Job Description

As a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), you will play a critical role in maintaining our high standards of quality and safety in welding practices. Your expertise will help identify defects and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and mechanical inspections of welds.
• Implement non-destructive testing (NDT) methods to assess weld quality.
• Create and maintain inspection records and documentation.
• Advise on the selection of welding processes for specific applications.
• Train and mentor junior inspectors and welding staff.
• Participate in problem-solving discussions to address quality issues.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years experience in welding inspection, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
