Cutting and Slicing Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders

Job Description

As a V Belt Skiver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of V Belt Skiving machines to produce custom V belts tailored to our customers' needs. This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to quality in all aspects of production.

Responsibilities

• Manage the setup and calibration of V Belt Skiving machines.
• Oversee production line operations, ensuring high-quality output.
• Create and maintain production logs and reports.
• Respond to and resolve any production issues promptly.
• Engage in continuous training and skill development.
• Participate in safety seminars and training programs.
• Assist in quality control audits as required.

Requirements

Education

• Vocational training in mechanical or industrial engineering is a plus

Experience

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with V Belt Skiving machines
• Quality control procedures

Soft Skills

• Communication skills
• Adaptability

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles: Knowledge of practices aimed at reducing waste within manufacturing systems.
• Experience with industrial quality control systems: Understanding of standard quality control techniques and practices.
