Job Description

As a Loan Officer at Tech Innovations Inc., you will be integral to our loan processing team, responsible for assessing loan applications and making critical decisions based on eligibility criteria. You will collaborate closely with underwriters to ensure timely and accurate processing of loans, all while providing exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Analyze loan requests and verify necessary client information.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding their loan status.
• Work through complex loan scenarios and recommend best solutions.
• Maintain knowledge of current market trends affecting loans and interest rates.
• Utilize loan origination software to track and manage applications.
• Support the development of training materials for new Loan Officers.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field
• Relevant certifications or training in loan underwriting is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in loan processing or mortgage banking

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Loan Underwriting Guidelines
• CRM Software (e.g., Salesforce)

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Customer Service Skills

Certifications

• Certified Residential Underwriter (CRU)
• NMLS License

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience with loan portfolio management: Hands-on experience managing a diverse portfolio of loan products.
• Background in loan servicing or collections: Experience in servicing loans or managing collections.
