Job Description

As a Wind Turbine Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of wind turbines. This position requires a strong understanding of wind energy systems and electrical components, along with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation processes for new turbine projects.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for malfunctioning systems.
• Educate team members on best practices for safety.
• Engage with clients to provide insights and recommendations.
• Implement maintenance schedules and follow-through.
• Evaluate the efficiency of wind turbines regularly.
• Assist in operational planning for wind power sites.
• Ensure that all safety gear and tools are used appropriately.
• Collaborate with environmental teams to assess impact.
• Provide monthly performance reports to management.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate's degree in Renewable Energy or related field preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in wind energy systems

Technical Skills

• Wind turbine system knowledge

Certifications

• AWEA Wind Turbine Technician Certification

Languages
