Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Hydrotechnician to support our water resource management initiatives. Your key responsibilities will include performing data collection, analyzing hydrological data, and maintaining monitoring equipment. This role is vital to ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and enhancing sustainable practices.

Responsibilities

  • Perform regular maintenance on hydrological monitoring devices.
  • Analyze water quality and quantity data to support project goals.
  • Provide technical reports and data visualizations for project presentations.
  • Participate actively in project planning and execution.
  • Work with local regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to laws.
  • Engage in public outreach and education on water resource issues.
  • Assist in research and development of new methods in water conservation.
  • Collaborate on interdisciplinary studies with ecologists and engineers.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables effectively.
  • Utilize GIS tools for mapping and analysis of water resources.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree in Hydrology preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in environmental science or hydrology.
