Job Description

As a Paper Machine Supervisor, you will be at the helm of our production facility, ensuring the smooth operation of paper machines. Your role includes managing the production process, meeting quality control standards, and upholding safety regulations in the workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the paper machines and ensure optimal performance.
  • Lead and motivate a diverse team of operators and technicians.
  • Conduct performance reviews and set goals for production staff.
  • Develop and implement process improvement initiatives.
  • Track production metrics and report findings to upper management.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure equipment is operational.
  • Ensure compliance with local and federal safety regulations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for any production-related inquiries.
  • Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Create training materials and facilitate training sessions for new employees.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Production Management or related field
Experience
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
