Material Moving Worker (Wire Wheeler)

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive Wire Wheeler to operate wire wheel machines in our manufacturing facility. You will play a critical role in ensuring products are ready for the next stages of processing by maintaining clean and safe work environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation of wire wheel machines to clean and polish metal pieces.
• Conduct routine inspections to maintain machine functionality.
• Utilize PPE and follow stringent safety guidelines.
• Set up materials and equipment in preparation for each task efficiently.
• Conduct tests to confirm the quality of cleaned surfaces.
• Document any issues with equipment for follow-up repair.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the workspace.
• Work toward production goals while minimizing downtime.
• Engage in team meetings to discuss workflow improvements.
• Educate new hires on safety and operational procedures.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum 2 years in wire wheeling or metal fabrication.

Languages
