Technical Translator

Job Description

As a Technical Translator, you will be responsible for translating technical documents, manuals, and materials accurately from one language to another while ensuring consistency in terminology and concepts.

Responsibilities

• Translate manuals and specifications while ensuring clarity and precision.
• Collaborate with team members for seamless project execution.
• Research industry-specific terminology to enhance translation quality.
• Proofread content to eliminate errors and inconsistencies.
• Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's in Linguistics or Translation
• Certification in Translation preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in technical translation preferred.

Technical Skills

• Excellent command of SDL Trados
• Familiarity with technical documentation

Soft Skills

• Cultural sensitivity
• Organizational skills

Languages

• English: Fluent
• French: Proficient
