Job Description

As a Purchasing Manager, you will lead our procurement strategies, optimizing costs, and ensuring quality and compliance across all purchasing activities. This role requires strategic sourcing expertise and a keen understanding of market dynamics to effectively negotiate with suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • Craft strategic sourcing strategies based on market analysis.
  • Select suppliers using a robust selection process for quality and value.
  • Negotiate and finalize supplier contracts ensuring company interests are prioritized.
  • Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships for long-term collaboration.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure sourcing aligns with operational needs.
  • Innovate procurement processes for continual improvements.
  • Perform spend analysis to identify trends and savings opportunities.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor junior team members to enhance team effectiveness.
  • Report on sourcing metrics to senior leadership.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Advanced degree or certification is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement and strategic sourcing
