Job Description

The Cloth Reeler plays a vital role in the manufacturing process, operating and maintaining weaving machinery to produce high-quality cloth. The ideal candidate will have experience in textile manufacturing and possess mechanical aptitude, ensuring the machinery operates efficiently while maintaining quality control.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operation of the cloth reeling machinery and ensure proper functioning.
• Perform routine checks and updates of equipment to enhance efficiency.
• Engage in quality checks to ensure product perfection during the weaving process.
• Document all relevant production metrics for ongoing assessment.
• Help maintain inventory levels for raw materials and finished products.
• Assist in implementing lean manufacturing techniques to improve workflow.
• Participate in safety training sessions to uphold workplace standards.
• Actively suggest process improvements based on observations.
• Work under the guidance of the Production Manager to fulfill workload requirements.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in cloth weaving or related area is a plus

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in textile or similar manufacturing environments

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of production processes
• Ability to lift heavy materials

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with production scheduling and inventory management: Knowledge in scheduling workflow and managing material supplies.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles: Understanding of methodologies to enhance production efficiency.
