Job Description

As a Machine Milker, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining milking machines efficiently. This role involves ensuring that dairy animals are milked cleanly and safely while adhering to established procedures. Your attention to detail and commitment to hygiene are crucial in maintaining the quality of our dairy products.

Responsibilities

• Follow milking schedules and ensure timely milking of the herd.
• Conduct daily checks and maintenance of milking machinery.
• Report any equipment failures or malfunctions immediately.
• Participate in training sessions on new equipment and procedures.
• Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure animal health during milking.
• Help establish milking protocols that prioritize animal welfare.
• Participate in clean-up and sanitization of the milking area post-operation.
• Actively engage in team communication regarding milking operations.
• Contribute ideas for improving efficiency and quality in milking.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in machine milking preferred
