Cylinder Inspector

Job Description

The Cylinder Inspector is responsible for inspecting cylinders used in various industries, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. This role requires a keen attention to detail, technical knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate inspection processes and suggest improvements.
• Ensure all inspection tools and equipment are well-maintained.
• Provide training to new inspectors on best practices.
• Assist in audits and inspections by regulatory bodies.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification in inspection or quality control preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in cylinder inspection or quality control.

Technical Skills

• Technical writing skills
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations

Soft Skills

• Team player
• Analytical thinker

Certifications

• Certified Quality Inspector (CQI)
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• CWI Certification: Certified Welding Inspector certification is a plus.
• Experience in quality control within manufacturing: Understanding of quality control processes in a manufacturing environment.
