Job Description

As a Metal-Refining Furnace Operator, you will play a crucial role in managing the central melt operations. Your responsibilities will include operating and monitoring sophisticated melting machinery to ensure optimal efficiency and adherence to safety protocols. The position requires strong problem-solving skills, teamwork, and a commitment to maintaining high production standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily melting operations to ensure targets are met.
• Implement safety measures and conduct safety training for team members.
• Prepare reports on melting production and quality metrics.
• Participate in equipment upgrades and process optimization.
• Help coordinate maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Work closely with quality assurance to inspect melted materials.
• Provide feedback for continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate's degree in a related field is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in metal refining
